Have you ever had one of those days where you just needed some extra sparkle? You know the day…it’s gloomy out, missed a deadline at work, broke your favorite heel?

Rather than going out and buying something to help you feel fabulous, why not channel your inner Martha and make a beautiful candleholder/vase/desk accessory that will make your troubles melt away?

Step 1:
Find an old mason jar (or get one at a craft store)

Step 2:
Mix glue and water (3 parts glue to 1 part water) and apply using a foam brush to the inside of the mason jar. Go as high or low with the glue as you want.

Step 3:
Take your favorite color glitter and pour it into the mason jar. Shake the jar up until all the glue is covered with glitter and empty the remaining glitter.

Step 4:
Allow the glitter to dry. Take a piece of ribbon just long enough to circle the widest part of the jar and secure it with some glue.

Step 5:
Enjoy!
