18 Nov Featured Venue: Bucktown Ballroom
What was once the only ballroom and social hub for the Bucktown community is now a beautifully renovated Renaissance style space available to rent for your first nonprofit event, intimate wedding reception, or social gathering. Bucktown Ballroom is an affordable and distinctive venue for any occasion. Henry J. Schlackson designed the beautiful brick building in 1899. The three-story building was used as a church and shortly after, the church became the St. Mary of the Angels School and since has been a famous and historical landmark in Chicago.
Today, you can re-live the Renaissance age as you host your event at the Bucktown Ballroom. With high ceilings and polished cathedral architecture, the Bucktown Ballroom is an attractive space to host weddings, baptisms, fundraisers, corporate events, birthdays, cotillions, and more. The ballroom can accommodate up to 300 people for a sit-down dinner, with a full service bar and kitchen. The facility also has an adjacent parking lot for your guest’s convenience.
