About This Project

Waveland Clock Tower
3600 N Recreation Dr., Chicago, IL 60613
312.742.7930

Originally constructed in 1931, the Clock Tower Café was built alongside the Waveland Fieldhouse (currently the Sydney R. Marovitz Clubhouse), as a refreshment stand to accommodate the patrons of the surrounding golf course, tennis courts and ping pong tables. The Clock Tower was designed in the same English Gothic style as other landmarks in Waveland and Lincoln Park by native Chicagoan Edwin H. Clark to offer North Siders the same fieldhouse experience found on the South Side.

The Clock Tower is still owned by the Chicago Park District and is managed, along with all the Chicago Park District golf courses, by Billy Casper Golf.

Today, the Clock Tower offers more than just refreshments. Take in the surroundings during your meal with magnificent views of Lake Michigan or Downtown Chicago from one of our two dog friendly patios, or enjoy your meal inside and watch the game on one of our seven flat screen TVs. Our delicious menu provides not-to-be-missed options for everyone in your group.
